Epic Stout Tasting IV...

Am I ever glad I raised my hand for this gathering. Reading through some of these posts it looks like all of us involved are in for a treat! I'm already extremely excited for this! Just a little intimidated by some of these posts of the offerings. I'm hoping I can rank up there with what I can contribute. Kudos to all involved and I'm very, very excited for this!

 

Still pissed I am missing this. Gonna have to find an off night to come down there

 

I have a few bottles of dark Lord collecting dust in my cellar I should donate in the spirit good kharma and creating space, and did I hear someone mention the funk?

 

I picked up a Sump, Beer Geek Vanilla Shake and, Casey Brewing and Blending Saison in Colorado this week.

 

Looks like I won't be able to attend after all. There's always next year.

 

Alright, I think I got my picks together for the weekend. Hopefully they're a couple brews nobody else will show up with.

Can we bring anything (besides awesome beers and proper glassware)? Desserts? Things in a crock pot?

 

I'm out now. My place to stay for the night fell through when my buddy from Lake City decided to go up North this weekend. Don't have the $120 for a hotel, so taking the wife out for dinner instead.
Just wanted to free up a spot in case someone really had their heart set on going.

 

That's easy to fix. Post that you're looking for a non-creeper roomie for the night (me for example). Split the cost of the room, problem solved.

 

I have an open bed at the Americinn. Queen bed for both of you kids.

 

You forgot to add "I promise I won't kill you and wear your skin" to that. Just so they know there won't be any funny business.

Anyone rolling into town from the north just a little before festivity time at Nosh? I ask as if you have room I wouldn't mind hopping in for a lift downtown. Staying at the Alaska hotel and taking a cab home later. Just looking for a ride to Nosh.

Wife and I are staying at Alaska hotel as well and not sure how we're going get to and from Nosh but certainly don't want to be driving home at the end of the night. Anyone up for organizing caravans and/or party buses?

 

I can offer a ride share from the southern cities if anyone is in need. I don't mind shuttling some to and fro as well
