Question for the foundation brewing regulars.......on the bottom of my can there are 2 dates. 06/30/15 and 08/04/15, anyone know why? I was told they were canned 08/04/15
I'm not a regular but I'm guessing you just happened to get a leftover can that they didn't fill for the 6/30/15 release
Has there been any update on when the next batch of Epiphany wll be available? It looks like it was 5 weeks between the previous 2 batches so would it be correct to assume the next release will be somewhere around Sept 10?
I think its usually once a month, usually the first week. I imagine they'd try to squeeze in a batch to sell Labor Day weekend (at least that's what they did 4th of July)
They did a release on 6-30 also. They use a company that brings equipment and cans on the day of canning (don't have a canning line in the brewery), so doubtful it was a leftover can they filled on 8-4. Most likely a can from the 6-30 batch. I bet its still great though, just not as fresh.
Joel from Foundation here. That can went through the date stamper on a previous canning run, but was never filled. It went back through the date stamper when it was filled. We try not to let this happen, but in the case that it does, the newest date is the date that it is filled.
My bad, I missed the two dates on one can and read it as two cans that someone sent you. Thought maybe they had one from each and just grabbed them from their fridge or something without checking. And welcome @JoelMahaffey! Great beer no matter what the date!
Can't say for sure, last batch was 30 bbls and I believe sold out on Thursday. It has made it to Friday in the past in very small quantities. This batch is the first time they are doing 45 bbls.
do we think this beer will stick around until 4-5 on Thursday? I realistically won't make it until then. thanks!
Anyone up in Portland looking to trade Nightshift Cans for Epiphany Cans either Friday or Saturday in Person? BM me if so, going to brewery either tonight or tomorrow, can pick up as much as you want to trade for
