To add to Xerlic's post, I had a can of Hopwave 5 over the weekend and I am nervous. EQ seems to have found some of their old magic as of late and am cautiously optimistic moving forward.

    Got it on the app.

Imagine being happy for having the privilege of spending $32 for 17 oz of beer.

No dice. Was 'in the queue' on the website and was waiting for the shopping cart to load on the app. both went to "unavailable" within 30 seconds.

Snagged a bottle as my eventbrite streak continues.
It’s all about having the proper method, I use a PC exclusively. The timing is key. The only thing I missed out on was the strawberry cheesecake because I was on a boat using the app with out the proper time.

I scored with the app, but yeah not entirely thrilled to be spending $50+ on a bottle

100% agree as a single malt fan. For $1000, I can get a 30 year Highland Park. Not even a tough choice.

Serious question: Why is that LOL? I'm ignorant for sure, but it seems like a pretty dope beer being a DB with BL, and factor in 1pp and $30 retail + shipping. Non-BA-LADS has closed for 90-100. I'm probably missing something, I'm not super knowledgeable.

I’m just throwing my .02 out there...the entire situation is laughable. At least from the way I and @patmcd are looking at it.

Totally fair, but care to expand on that opinion? I just am getting my toes wet in the big beer game.

Sorry to barge in but I am also relatively new into the craft beer scene. However, I am not too new to know that there is a wide swath of BA users who can't fathom people willing to spend $150 on a single bottle of beer. Personally, I am one of them. I find it to be tacky and almost a shame-brag for someone to say "I snagged a bottle of X for $100. I know it's a lot but I really wanted to try this beer".
That being said, I also know in my short time on BA that there are likely an equal number of people who have no problem with spending that kind of money for a bottle of beer. Personally, I don't begrudge them. To each their own! Do what works for you.
I am leaving alone the whole secondary-market/reselling debate.
If you are looking for guidance/advice on if $150 for a bottle of beer is "LOL", I would say it is.

Yeah I’m with @Greyvtrayn @guinness77 @patmcd - because one or more people have paid $X (or god - "closed" at $X) on the secondary doesn't make it right. It's fking beer. But for every viewpoint in that direction there will be a "free market / capitalism 101 bro" comment going the other way. If you take a step back though, and think about what exactly that sort of money is getting you and what you could be getting instead (even staying inside the alcoholic beverage space), I personally find it fairly mental.
