Any suggestions on how early I should be in order to get beer?

Will they be doing growler fills tomorrow?

Growler fills are done for good.

Taproom is part of the restaurant and stopped doing growler fills and the brewery has ordered a crowler machine to use in the future.

Damn, is it a bad idea to head out there and arrive at 9am?

They’ve always been pretty adamant that as long as you get a ticket by open you’ll get beer. Not sure on the ticket cap though.

hoping to make it to the afternoon release today, but I won't be up there till 230ish..based on how long the line is already for the morning release, It would appear that i'd be SOL later today

They said you have 200 cases of the collab and 600 bottles of Casey Passionfruit per release

Looks like there are 75 cases for the 3:00PM release, not 200 like originally thought.

I thought the afternoon release was handled well. Showed up around 1:20 to grab a ticket, found a place to eat lunch, and lined back up around 2:45. Release started at 3, and I was out by 3:08. Can't wait to crack them open tomorrow.

    Great release yesterday!

@COONEYERIK was super helpful helping me navigate my first time and this beer is incredible! Also who can complain about that brisket? The beer has that grovestand orange juice thing that I like more in my beer than my orange juice.

I had Fluctuation on tap tonight and holy shit. If I rated beers it would have been all 5s. What a beer. My buddy bartending split a Focal with me and my other buddy and I was commenting on how fresh that had to be to still taste great next to the Fluctuation. Seriously blown away. The Flux was that good.

Definitely agree. Had Fluctuation on tap the night of Civil Society's anniversary party. Bar across the street from them had a bunch of good stuff on tap but I ended up having a few of the EQ.

    But their labels suck, right?

I think sufficient time has passed since people laughed off the Tree House comparison, so let's revisit now that EQ is cranking out cans and sours on a regular basis. They won't be the next Tree House, we can agree on that. They have already surpassed them. Clearly not in production and variation, but the quality right now is flat out better at Equilibrium. The cannings over the last few months have just nailed it, and pretty much ever can has been as good if not better than DrJ or Green (which are TH's bread and butter). Even if you turn back time and look at TH before the expansion when the quality was better (yes, sorry it has dropped off a little since the expansion), still I think EQ matches punch for punch and the kick ass sours put them ahead.

EQ also took on the redheaded step child of hops, Ekuanot, and made Fractal Ekuanot unreal. I've not seen anyone showcase that hop like EQ did. Once the stouts starts rolling, look out. The breakfast stout they teased a few weeks ago was absurd.

Preach it brother, couldn't agree more. The bar has been raised. I turned down the offer of Vermont cans brought back by two Conn. friends who are going to Vt. next week on a beercation. I turned down the offer of TH beers for trade for the Answer collab. Why bother? We drink better beer here.

going to have to disagree about the drop off in quality from TH. The last batch of Julius and Green were unbelievable and they were 2300 case batches. In fact it was better than when I had it at the Monsoon brewery a year ago.

I do agree that EQ is on that level in terms of brewing chops but they still are producing batch sizes at 1/10th of what TH does on a regular basis.

What about all the other styles TH is putting out, i.e. ESB, brown, amber, non-imperial milk stout, and kellerbier? They nail those as well.
