Hours for growler fills will be:
    Monday - 4pm to 8pm
    Tuesday - 4pm to 8pm
    Wednesday - no growler fills
    Thursday - 4pm to 8pm
    Friday - 4pm to 8pm
    Saturday - 11:30am to 5pm
    Sunday - 11:30am to 5pm

was hoping they'd be open lunchtime on the weekdays, so I could swing by during then when it's less crowded, but oh well. at least they're open most days and the weekdays shouldn't be too swamped.

Are the growlers C02 purged or counter pressured?

Mmm... Osa is $14 for 54oz as opposed to $32 at Milk and Hops, I'd say that's better than NYC prices.

Are the kegs that expensive? Or places just gouging a bit due to quality/hype?

To be fair M &H also sells it for $9 for a 12oz at the bar and they typically charge just on bar price on growlers. Also that should have read 64oz.

I had a mmm...Osa on tap last night. Definitely got my attention. A little disappointed, though, Vulgar Display tapped before I got there.

Was comparing to NYC breweries, not resellers like milk and hops.

Most breweries and restaurants in the lower Hudson Valley are already on par with NYC pricing, so it's hardly surprising

I dunno, Rushing Duck is closer to equilibrium than anyone else, and their prices are still pretty good...

I'm not bashing equilibrium. They are very nice folks and they brew very good beer. I'm happy to have them there, as I pass through that area a lot. I do hope their can prices end up being a little lower than the growlers.

that was my basis for comparison. Rushing Duck's 64oz fills (that aren't the pale or pils) are generally $16-19. their Pay to Play IPA is 6.5% and $19 for a 64oz growler fill, per their Facebook page today. the only Equilibrium brews pricier than that have more abv, and it's only $1-2 more. Fractal Citra is 6.8% and $16 for a 64oz fill, so EQ is actually cheaper on the growler front here. This is just the reality of brewery prices circa 2017.

I guess it may be pricier in terms of on-site fills (not sure), since it's also doubling as a restaurant and in a less rural location, but seems similar to me. I recall RD pints being $6, correct? pints are $6 at Pine Island Brewing, at least, and their growler fills seem even pricier ($22 for a DIPA 64oz fill). they're just as close to EQ.

in terms of bars and whatnot around the area serving craft beer, I find the prices are the same as NYC ($8-9 typically for a pint of something great, at least at places like Eddie's Roadhouse and the Helm). if there's a vastly cheaper brewery/bar I don't know about in the area, would want to hear about it lol.

Huh, the prices at RD must have gone up recently? I was there a couple weeks ago and pay to play was $16 for a 64oz, both war elephant and bean head were $15 per 4pk. Same on their BeerMenus page. Hopefully next weeks dbz cans are still $13!

I generally don't have pints So I can't comment on that.

But, I just dropped by my local key foods in brooklyn and they had 4pks of Grimm afterimage on the shelf for $26.99 before tax, kind of puts it all in perspective. I passed, I'd rather just slum it with the treehouse cans in my fridge.

And regardless, I'm still really happy to see equilibrium up and running.

their board says $19, but perhaps that's for something else (pitchers maybe?) -- not sure if it changed or what. either way, RD's and EQ's 6.5% and 6.8% hoppy beers are the exact same price if it is $16, so I wasn't too taken aback.

agreed that it's nice they're up and running. looking forward to visiting.

Not sure about the growlers, but RD pints go for $4.00, best deal out there....some higher abv beers come in lesser quantities.

On Monday around 430pm there was no wait for Growlers and Bar upstairs had maybe 10 people at it, nice and quiet, I was into it, grabbed some honey garlic wings and the buffalo brussel sprouts. Had a fluctuation and a Mmm...osa.

...more importantly Ryan talked about some 100% mosiac IPAs coming soon. color me stoked.

Wow! Was there from about 4-5pm today. Awesome service -- both the bartender and taproom server were great. Wasn't crowded at all initially, though started to get some people in around 5pm (and they promptly added another bartender when it did). But still plenty of space to maneuver. Food was solid, beer was (obviously) awesome -- perfect rating in my book.

There and Back Again is now on for growlers, btw. Their sour game is really impressive even out of the gates, with this one alone.,
