Erdinger Messed Up Label, What's up here?

    They're the "weissbier for people who don't like weissbier." It has been like 15 years, but Garrett Oliver posted something akin to that on BA way back when.

    That IS their thing, though. Across most of their product line, their wheat beers have a very neutral yeast character. They also focus on selling their bottled products almost exclusively. I don't think I've ever seen an Erdinger tap in Germany, yet their bottles are pretty much everywhere. Seems they do have a new weissbier that's far closer to what most people expect, though: https://de.erdinger.de/biere/urweisse.html
    I haven't tried it, but supposedly it's good.

    Not that this has anything to do whatsoever with this article, but Erdinger Dunkle on tap is heavenly!
    We used to get it regularly at the Pub I worked at, then supply issues happened. Boo.
