__ I see on their website that there has been new ownership since 2012. Does anyone know who is brewing for them these days ?
--Railbender Ale seems to be less than what it once was. Agree ? Disagree ?
--Lavery Brewing seems to have the same label designs. Are they one of the same ?
-- Last point. Please bring back your Maibock. Their best beer, IMO

Lavery is independent of Erie. A fun fact about them is that they started brewing at the Brewerie before they got their own space. I believe that Lavery, the Brewerie, and Erie Brewing all in some sort of partnership (that's too strong of a word). But that may mean they share resources, like whoever designs the labels.

Jason Lynch, one of the brewers at Lavery, designs all of Lavery's artwork but I'm not sure if he does it for Erie. I've been there a few times while they are brewing and Shawn from Erie Brewing has been there, so there is local camaraderie there (no pun intended). The partnership that EF0rs is referencing is the Lake Erie Beer Trail, which is a group of all of the local breweries (Voodoo, Timber Creek, Lavery, Erie, BrewErie, Erie Ale Works, 5&20, Sprague's and possibly Southern Tier) in an effort to boost the tourism aspect of breweries, which has been nonexistent when compared to the local wineries.

No, I'm not referring to the trail. Lavery has a plaque on their back wall. It's acknowledges a brotherhood for three local breweries. (I know Lavery and Brewerie are two of them). I can't find a picture of it and "brotherhood" might be the wrong term
