I am unable to access beeradvocate.com from my att uverse internet.

    I get a host error:
The origin web server timed out responding to this request.

I can access the site from my phone and another network on the same computer just not through my router. This started this morning, does anyone else have the same issue?

This is a known issue. It looks like there could be one or more regional nodes. We're investigating with our CDN.

    For those having issues, please:
    • take a screenshot of the error
    • post a traceroute output from your local machine (if possible)
    • go here: http://beeradvocate.com/cdn-cgi/trace and post the results
    • note the ray ID on the page (if any)
    Thanks,

*Edit. Noted the above Colo is EWR, which is newark (the one that doesn't work for me).
When using a proxy, the colo is DFW (dallas) and seems to work just fine.

I get it from time to time on my pc and my Ipad...just thought the site was in heavy use? Todd how many people are on the site at any given moment...verses high usages periods? Just curious...

Front Forums page (on the right side) lists members and gives a number of users:
    Total: 2,360 (members: 528, guests: 1,786, robots: 46)

I would say that in the evening is when it's the highest (often near 5,000 total users).

This issue seems to be different though. I can access the site now (obviously, since I am typing this) when using a proxy, which uses a different location for the access to the content. But, my regular connection hasn't worked in a day (same as beerhans issue above).

I have the ray ID as well now:

FYI: This has nothing to do with the number of users online. It appears to be an issue with accessing one of our CDN nodes (currently being investigated) or a larger connectivity issue.

Our core servers are operational though.

I had issues at home last night and it just timed out from my Comcast account, got up this morning and popped right in.

Looks like our CDN has resolved the issue. Thanks of the updates.
