What glasses should every self-respecting BA have in their cubboard? I would argue: SA Glass A stemmed globe/ snifter Stein What else?
Duvel Tulip Large reidel wine glass Regular pint glasses A Duvel tulip is the only MUST I think every good craft drinker should have. It's the perfect glass for a great beer. I refer to the Duvel one in particular because the dimensions are perfect and I have yet to see another like it.
Excuse my lack of glassware knowledge, but what is an SA glass? Also i think the spieglelau ipa glass- used by sierra nevada and dogfishhead (possibly others as well that i am unaware of) I enjoy drinking pretty much all my IPAs out of it, i think it was worth while
Just got my DFH IPA glass last night and I really enjoyed it. It will be hard to choose between that and my usual teku for IPAs

I think he's refering to the Sam Adams Perfect Pint glass. And yea the main ones I use are snifters, tulips, and nonics/imperial pints. And I'll use one of my Teku's when I'm feeling fancy.
Oversize snifter is my go-to glasses out of the hundreds I have, they hold about 20oz's. The CBS glass model, but my favorite of the style (even though they're physically the same) is the Greenman snifter. Awesome frosted logo. It's by far the glass I use the most.

Pint = all-purpose failsafe Snifter = stout/roasty/barleywine must-have. tulip = very versatile for anything from big Belgian quads to IPA's I have 40+ glasses and I assure you that you can get by with the above three glasses. The Sam Adams pint really is perfect for just about anything. I think they really nailed that design. I like it for everything except IPA's.
You need a good imperial pint glass, not the shitty shaker pint's you see everywhere. You need a good tulip with a nice lip on it. A tall pilsner glass. A snifter of sorts. Oh, and a fucking boot. You can't NOT have a boot. Pretty much covers most of it.
