what is proper etiquette for a damaged package. I've never had to deal with this until now. I am on the end of an undeliverable damaged package. FedEx wouldn't deliver it. What do I do on my end? How long do I wait for the sender to re send the package and so on? I know this has probably been asked and answered. Thanks in advance

I have had this happen where I sent a package that was damaged.

You just contact the person you are trading with and keep them up to date on whats going on. At the point that the box is damaged or undeliverable (usually from poor packaging), the person you are trading with should then either send you a new package of what you agreed upon or send you back the package you sent him.

I'm unclear. You haven't even spoken to your trade partner yet?

Reach out to the sender and make sure he is aware that the package is being shipped back to him because it was damaged. He should repackage it and ship it again.

I did speak with him. Just to be clear I was trying to see what people do when this happens as it hasn't happened to me until now. I appreciate the help and everything is squared away. This type of stuff is bound to happen, that much I know. The other guy had been great so far.
