Etiquette question...

    If you wanted to wait an hour to see if you would get the offer you liked best, why not put up the ISO and log off for an hour? It's not like you had to be there in front of the screen, replying to every new message as it came in.

    Just be up front about it. I've done this before I think. I'll usually post in the ISO 1 or 2 priorities and then a list of others in case the top ISO's were overshooting a bit. I'll reply to the person with something along the lines of "Really want to get x beer out of this, but if no one replies in 24 hours with it, then I'll trade with you for other beers on the ISO"

    I've also been on the receiving end of something like that, and while it was disappointing when someone offered his top want, he was clear and communicated well that was his priority so butthurt did not occur.
