I'm coming to town for a fishing trip. Need to pickup supplies for a week at Wickiup. What should should a person from California pick up. I love big iipas, barley wines and imperial stouts. Where should I go for local flavor in Springfield and Eugene?

I have checked places and bier stein looks like a must do.

    Thanks in advance.

Bier Stein and Market of Choice on 29th & Willamette will get in a fresh shipment of Block 15 Sticky Hands on May 5th... Oakshire might still have Hellshire VI on tap at the tap house. Other than that go to the thread John posted ^ we both put a lot of time into that one and it pretty much covers it really well.

EDIT: Bier Stein will have a tapping event of Pelican's Mother Of All Storms BA Barleywine on 5/8

I would go to 16 tons in Eugene, the one on 13th street. Always has a good tap list and bottle list.
If your looking for some bottles the market of choice @ 29th and wilamette has come good stuff also.

@Salmoniform Alesmith? Were you thinking Alesong? If so, they aren't open to the public yet, although they will be doing a release event at the Stein late this month/early June.
