So I saw posters start going up at their Public House last week and was told to keep an eye out on Facebook. They directed me to the events page https://www.facebook.com/events/536785433061400/. The bartenders said that the festival was a tie in with the Oregon Brewers Guild Fresh Hop festival in Eugene, but that not all the beer was going to be fresh hop beer. They said they were making it a fall festival dedicated to single and small batch beer.

Saw the initial brewery list last week which looked good, but no indication of beers. Good breweries, but all seemed like they could send regular beer. Just checked back and they posted the initial list of beers:

Oakshire - Funk'd d' Farmhouse, Heavenly Very Ill Tempered Gnome, Rouge
    Double Mountain - Troubador
Claim 52 - Belgian IPA and Saison
    Tracktown - Milk Stout
    Rogue - Fresh Hop Ale
    Upright - Fresh Hop Saison
Breakside - Sour Grapefruit and Chamomile Wheat
High Street - Thundercone Fresh Hop
Silvermoon - Boyz in the Wood
Lagunitas - Fusion 17 Hoppy Brown
Viking Braggot Company - Pineapple IPA
Base Camp - In-2-Tents Imperial IPL
Hopworks - Bitchin' Camero Fresh Hop Lager
Falling Sky - So Fresh, So Green Fresh Hop Lager
10 Barrel - Pray For Snow
Steelhead - Fresh Hop Cascade IPA
Block 15 Fuzzy Wuzzy (Wild Farmouse Ale w/ peaches)
2 Towns- Bourbon Barrel Bad Cider
    Mazama- Bourbon Barrel Baltic Porter
    Sky High- Fresh Hop

It also says the 5050 and Elliot Bay are sending beer.
Looks pretty interesting especially with not getting a lot of press and play around town.
Seems like it might be worth it for some non-football Saturday shenanigans.

    Cheers!

Hmmmm.... looks pretty good. Is the festival this Saturday, and if so, what time does it start?

Unfortunately, I'm not able to access facebook from my work computer, so I can't look and see.

    Thanks!

Was planning to drive up to PDX that day, but maybe I'll stay home and do this instead. :-)
