Euro 2016 BIF

Hey, just wanted to see if there would be any interest in doing a Euro 2016 BIF. If so, I don't mind running it. Haven't run one here before, but ran many office pools in my day.

Depending on how many people we have interested, I was thinking of a draft of all the squads and then using total points earned/how far they go in playoffs. I'm shooting for 12 so each person gets two squads, but could figure something out if interest is real high (maybe add a Copa America group or something).

If you would do something like this, respond here and BM me. First match is June 10, so I want to get on this soon.

If there is enough interest, I'll work on how many boxes to send.

Also just some general rules that I stole from the March Madness Survivor pool.

• You must have a minimum of five trades @ 100%.

• 66oz of 90+ rated beer that is out of the winners distro, limited, beer you'd like to receive, etc.

I know that won't tag everyone, but just cleaning it up. I'd want at least one more to give us 8, but 12 is still my goal as it will add a few more boxes and pay out one more place. If we only end up with eight, we'll do first and second.

 

Great, there's eight. Also, I'm leaning towards doing a draft with just the teams, but working on a way to allow drafting of individual players each day as sort of a side bet.

 

I'm going to set the deadline for signing-up at May 28 since that still gives us a couple weeks to do the draft. We are currently at 8, but would like to get to 12.

Sounds good. Waiting to get three more or may have to stay with eight as it'll be very difficult to make it fair with an odd number of teams.

 

@johnyb @VaTechPhilly That puts us at 11. If we get one more, I'm going to close it at 12. I'll keep checking this, and once we hit 12, I'll randomize a draft list.
