So I found a great deal on a eurocave on craigslist. The couple I bought it from are big wine people who are moving from Manhattan to California, and were perplexed when I told them I planned to store beer in it and said they'd never heard of such a thing.

"Are they Irish beers?" Um, not really. Hilarious.

What size did ya get, and what did you pay for it?

$450, A bit steep, but considering the beer I'm storing, it's worth the investment and I think I could easily sell it for what I paid for it - it's about 70(h) x 25(w) x 24(d). I'll upload some pics later. I've got all of the rare beers in there already, now I'm moving on to the stuff that's awesome but that can be had on a trip to the local bottle shop.

Craig's list has some of the best deals. I got 3 wine racks less than a year ago from a couple who was moving to a house that already had a dedicated wine cellar. $300 for all three of them. They store 420 bottles combined, and retailed for like $500 each. Good score on the eurocave...you'll definitely get your money back out of that when it's time to sell.

That's a pretty awesome deal. As for the eurocave, it fits about 200 bottles of beer, and between that and what my wife will let me keep in the fridge, I think it's a good way to control how much beer I have. I might pick up a 25-40 bottle cooler to store the really great bottles i have, but my wife is going to put a stop to this soon so I might not risk that. Right now I've got about 150 bottles without a home, and and some need to be consumed now, especially with summer approaching....
