I was just shopping for a party and came across sixers of DAB (500ml cans!) for $6.99, a great price for such a solid, reliable beer. Are there any others out there that are as worthy of consideration?

I also picked up some Pilsner Urquell for the same price, but they were in 4-packs fwiw.

Berliner Kindl is 99p a bottle at aldi here, which puts it firmly in the piss water range. It is piss water, but one of the better ones. I think it's better than DAB but the scores on here seem similar. PU is about 50% more expensive

DAB is very tasty and most likely the best value. It is always in my rotation.

    Compared to PU.

    DAB case-24 500ml cans for $23

    Pilsner Urquell case-24 12oz bottles for $28/$29

Nobody around me carries DAB, but it sounds tasty. I may have to ask about ordering some.

At my go to bottle shop, Pilsner Urquell is $4.99 for a 4 pack of pint cans, Tyskie is $5.49 for a 4 pack of pint cans, and Becks is $3.99 for a 4 pack of pint cans. My fridge is pretty well acquainted with all of them, but PU is becoming one of my fridge's best friends.

Okocim, Mythos, Stiegl, and Baltika 3 comes to mind. Tis' the season of the good lager. Then again, a Lion Imperial pils could round that night out rather nicely. Cheers!
