Ever blend Founders' two stouts?

    I've mixed FBS and Rubaeus, with quite nice results. Mixing the 2 stouts just doesn't appeal to me. In their case, the two parts seem greater than the whole (mixed sum).

    Nice idea. I've always tasted fresh FBS as unduly harsh to my taste. Whereas FIS is my perfect non-BA stout. I've got 2 yrs of FIS sitting. Looks like FBS hitting shelves soon again ...... wheels are turning ......

    I blended an Avery's Mephistopheles and a BCBS that turned out pretty damn good.

    Just tried big luscious last night, good but very sweet imo. I think breakfast stout might mellow this out and compliment the coffee / chocolate already present in it.
