Ever drink a beer and not realize the abv?

    Drinking Sour Monkey and enjoying it. Didn't pay attention to the abv. Oops, feeling nice though. Anybody have any similar experiences?

    I knew but forgot how potent Tank 7 is on more than one occasion. Man that stuff is dangerous...

    Had Enjoy By on tap last weekend without looking at it before hand...could have fooled me, it was so easy drinking for 9+

    Molotov cocktail has knocked me on my ass a couple times. Drinks way to easy for 13%.

    i almost always look at the abv, but the first time i ever drank hoptimum i practically inhaled the first two and midway through number three stood up to use the bathroom and almost fell over

    First WWS I ever had. Drank it in about 20 minutes. No idea it was upwards of 20%.

    Easter Sunday about 10 years back I had my first DogFish Head World Wide Stout and it was amaze balls. I hadn't eaten in awhile and I realized I was buzzed. I looked at the bottle and my jaw dropped.

    DGH Worldwide Stout at a bar, very boozy didn't realize it, loved it so much had another. I also did not realize the price.

    I can suck down grapefruit sculpins on hot days like they're water. Not crazy high ABV, but down a few 7% beers quick and you'll be feeling it.
