When I lived in Brussels I drank 75 cl's of Cantillon with dinner. It's fine with the Kriek. Doesn't work with the Vigneronne.

Every time. I'll share a sip with my sister, if she's around (she's the only willing to try new things, AND of legal drinking age), but other than that, I drink them all by myself. I've never had palate burn after drinking a sour. Me and sour things have a history...

I'll drink a couple consecutive "sours" by myself.

    Hmmm
Not yet, I've always shared these with friends or at bottleshares. Interesting point though, since I have drunk BA stouts and other types of brews solo (bombers)....

I anticipated sharing them. But I was flying out the next morning and Sour in the Rye permanently turned my mom off of the idea of sours, although a couple of the fruited ones she can handle. I had already killed the Love Child on my own and opened the SitR. Wasn't about to throw out a 26 dollar bottle of beer just because it got me drunk in front of my parents and gave me heartburn, right?

Can't say I've done that, either. I only throw up when I'm drinking spirits. I have a good handle on my limits, so if I'm imbibing lower ABVs, it's not a problem.

    Yes. Yes I have.

And OP, I hate to break it to you, but if La Folie was rough sailing, the SiTR is going to be napalm and your palate is going to feel like Death Valley afterwards. Not saying the journey isn't worth it (I've been there) but it's not easy...

Boon Geuze 750 and their Framboise 750. I thought killing 750s solo were a norm!?

In my experience, all vomited beer is sour beer.

I did once solo a bottle of Dom Perignon, which turns out to be a lot harder than finishing 750ml of sour beer.

I always drink 750s solo. When you drink a whole 750 of Chocolate Rain that's when you've made it. I know it's not a sour bomber. I've had Cantillon Gueuze and Cantillon Iris and they were both great in the 750 format.

Splinter 750 at Troegs. Was supposed to share it with the missus, who took one sip and passed on the rest. Bottle only for consumption at the brewery, so bravely soldiered on and enjoyed every mouthful. Tad unsteady when I stood up, but I put that down to an uneven floor
