Ever drink a sour bomber solo?

Yes, and with ease. The only reason I don't do it more often is the average price tag of 750s. As far as heartburn is concerned, I really only get heartburn from spirits and 10+ domestic beers.

 

I used to kill them solo and have no problem in doing so. I'd much rather share them. Yesterday was a prime example as many bottles of sours were open for Zwanze Day alongside a bag of Tums...lol.

Yeah, I drank 2 3 Sheeps raspberry sours, 1 Jester King Nocturn, and a orange and tangerine Provenence in one sitting.

 

Threw down a Deschutes The Dissident myself one night. I was brewing up a batch of beer, sent out at least 5 texts to friends to see if they wanted to come over and enjoy the bomber while I brewed and did all the work. I just wanted to share it.

No one took the offer so I drank it myself and rubbed it in their face. Mind you I also sipped that sucker over a 3-4 hour period.

I don't think I could. I am new to sours and 10 oz did a number on my stomach. This was La Folie so a pretty intense sour. This will sound like a joke but isn't. I don't think the 2 hr tasting frenzy with the sours at the end had anything to do with it. I could be convinced otherwise though. I am not immune (translated...old) to heartburn. Tums are my friend. My biggest problem was just a sour stomach even with the tums. I know it sounds like captain obvious to have a sour stomach after drinking sours. I love sours and will continue to drink them. I figure 3 minimum on a bomber.

Drank a whole 750 of Weyerbacher Riserva practically by myself (my gf had a few sips but didn't really like it). It took me about an hour and a half and was a bit tough near the end. In the future, if I open a sour big bottle, what I'll do is pour myself a small glass, put a bottle stopper in it, have some other beers in between and then finish it off at the end of the night.
