My buddy ask me if I have ever had a dry-hopped wheat beer before. I had to think long and hard, but couldn't come up with one that I know was for sure dry-hopped. Anyone have any experience and/or recommendations for one?

    Prost!

I have a home brewing buddy that dry hopped a wheat ale trying to mimic lil sumpin sumpin, and it was damn good. But I'm not sure if Lagunitas dry hops it or not, and I guess the same goes for Hop Sun from Southern Tier.

Pretty sure 80 acre and Gumballhead both get dryhopped.

I too made a home-brew with wheat (and rye) and dry-hopped with Centennial hops. Tasty, although a little bitter --- overdid it on bittering hops.

Isn't Lagunitas Little Sumpin dry hopped as well?

50/50 pale to wheat with a little aromatic? What kind of wheat?

I can confirm only that it's a great brew...especially for warm weather. Nice hop profile that mixes well with the refreshing aspects of a wheat beer. At $10 a six-pack, I'll be bringing some to the beach with me this summer.

FFF uses red wheat, I used white wheat because I had it on hand with copious amounts of Amarillo.

I tried looking up FU Sandy, haven't found the answer yet. I do know it was real hoppy and delicious

This one is lovely, and I saw it in a local shop just recently.

Edit: Actually, it is the Brooklyn version that I've had before and really liked (dry-hopped w/ American Amarillo and Palisade.)

One of my favorite beers I used to make is my Hopped Up Hef with Citra hops. A fantastic session beer, no idea why I haven't brewed in for two years
