I recently mixed a Moors Illusion Black IPA with a Westmalle Tripel, and got a gorgeous chocolate beer as a result.
    What's your 'mix up' story?

De Struise Double Black with '06 Blushing Monk... quite tasty. It's okay, we'd already tried each of them on their own :grinning:

The other night after mixing a few beers the chick at the end of the bar suddenly became more beautiful.

Weeeeeeeeeeeel we did this because we were too damn curious so no hate but it turned out soo good and it really shouldn't have.

We made a drink we called the Dark Pentagram. Hint we live in MN and can get Surly...

yea it was Surly 5 (Pentagram) and Darkness and we did a shot and a shot just out of pure curiosity (I think someone had a little of one in their glass still before going to pour a little of the other and did it on accident initially) man it was wonderful. It was like a boozy sour chocolate covered coffee bean.

Edit: I may be wrong we could have named it Pentagram of Darkness honestly don't remember now that was a long time ago, but I'll say it was tasty that I do remember.

Blåbær and 08 BCBS was the last one I tried. It was good, but both beer were better individually.

I have heard that the New Glarus Belgian Red and Raspberry Tart mix very well with Imperial Stouts.

2012 Vanilla Bourbon Barrel Aged Dark Lord and 2012 Cognac Barrel Aged Dark Lord

We tried these side by side and then mixed the last few sips of each together….pretty amazing, but if I was going to do it again I'd do less Vanilla as it over powers the Cognac.
