There's this adult entertainment venue I used to visit . . . best "Special Ex" in a can that I ever-did taste.

Belgian and Imperial Stouts from the bottle, most everything else I'm ok with on tap but I'm a big fan of bottled beer.

There's something about Sam Adam's Winter ale that tastes better from bottle. It's not as caramel sweet as on draft and for some reason I really like that with this beer.

    You got it.

Only if the place doesn't clean their glassware properly.

Odell IPA is one of my favorite go to beers. I've had it super fresh...as in super super duper fresh pretty much straight from the brite tank at the brewery in Ft. Collins. I've also had it on tap at a few other places who could possibly blame their failure on dirty lines or something.

I just still prefer a fresh bottle of Odell IPA than any of it I've tried on tap.

Haha.. yes I see your point. But truly out of the keg it's undrinkable. Out of the bottle I'd take a Newcastle if there was nothing else available.

From time to time, the most recent example I recall was Palo Santo Marron. Wonderful in the bottle; the one I had on tap at the brewpub had a weird metal and broccoli taste to it.

I prefer bottle and can over tap when it comes to price. Get way more for your money when you drink at home.

I've preferred BA 9000 in the bottle VS tap.

If talking purely about aroma, taste, mouthfeel I usually prefer the same beer from tap over bottled.
If talking about convenience, selection, ease, and the invaluable ability to drink the beer of my choosing when and where I want, while doing what I want, then you simply can't beat bottles or cans.

I like HT in the can better than on tap, but generally I prefer on tap.

I was underwhelmed by Stone IPA until I drank it from the bottle.

I don't drink anything from the bottle. But I was down to my last bottle from a sixer that I was not enjoying, so I just opened it and drank from the bottle. It was decisively better.

Blue moon. Ordered one and poured it out. Haven't drank it for a few years but on draft it was bad.

I think it really depends. Some bottle aged beers just taste better then fresh from the tap. Then there is bottle fermenting which adds it's own flavors. Then there is Heady. Never had it on tap (don't know if they do it) but I don't see it being much better then it is from the can. They even state that you should drink out from the can. Enjoying one now.

I would rather have Anchor Steam in a bottle.

Only on tap at the brewery for sample only, and the Prohibition Pig in Waterbury
