    Whichever is cheaper per ounce.

    I generally prefer bottle.

At a bar, I cannot control temperature, the pour, and vessel. At home, I can.

Also, I know the bottle date for IPAs. Some kegs sit at the basement of a bar for a certain amount of time. Bottle can sometimes be fresher.

I can't say I've ever preferred a bottled beer over a draft, of anything I've had both of.

I did have a few Weihenstephaner Hefeweissbiers recently that were in bottles. It would be hard to imagine them tasting any better than they already did.

Fantasia on a bottle is so much better than on tap.

I tend to prefer bottles to tap, actually. There are some exceptions (the one time I had KBS on tap was easily the best it tasted to me), but generally speaking I favor bottles.

    A) Far, far less expensive (assuming we're talking about buying at a store, not the bar)
    B) I know how old the beer is
    C) I don't have to wonder whether the tap lines have been cleaned
    D) Sharing is caring!

As long as the lines are clean- no!

Interesting comments. As a confirmed drafty, I go that way; particularly toward handpump dispensed ales. Bottles do provide control, though; and the aging comments are well taken.

I got this a lot when I worked at a bar. People would refuse to drink the draft version of it.

I prefer Hopslam in a bottle. It loses the honey presence on tap and becomes much more bitter

Bottle, although tap can be cheaper and fresher.

Most of the time I"m ordering from the tap. There have been times when I sent back beers because they did not taste wright because of dirty taps. In that case I will get a botttle.

Revolution's Anti Hero is better out of the can than on draft. But 9 out of 10 times I prefer beer on draft.

Probably my favorite beer I've ever had from tap as opposed to bottled!

I prefer bottled beer to anything. Draft beer for me is too smooth in most cases. I find it doesn't have that bite at the end like a bottle does. Just me, but is rather have a fresh bottle of anything over a draft any day. Especially if its a filled growler vs a bottle. There are certain beers I like colder than what draft offers and some I want warmer. A lot of drafts I've had also don't have that good funk intended in certain beers. Call me crazy but ill buy bottles any day as long as they're fresh
