Ever wonder about the boxes...?

    I usually reuse the boxes that I receive in trades for the next trade I do. I just did completed a trade today and received a unique box with "Dani's Books" plastered around it. I started wondering where that was (really don't want to look it up yet) and how many places this box may end up going. Maybe it's time to start a fun BA trading tradition with writing a start location on the inside of a box and each trader adding to it!

    I will do that from now on. Kinda like the dollar bills you see with the "Where's George?" stamp on 'em...

    Exactly! I figure on one of the flaps (so it'll be seen upon opening) I would simply write "AutumnBeerLove-Attleboro, MA" Then the BA who receives would write under it, "JoeSchmoe-Nowhere,etc." and so on. Has potential I think.

    I found a letter in one of my trades that was from 2 totally different people who traded before the person traded with my shipper so it traveled through 5 people until I sent it out again. Im sure some of these boxes have some serious mileage on them.

    Big time potential! I am going to ask all my future trading partners to do this. I think it would be really cool to do it for LIFs and use the same box to keep the LIF going.

    i'm gonna do this too, how cool would it be to ship out a box and have it come back way later with a ton of names/locations.

    This is a cool idea! I'll do this from now on too. I was actually thinking about this same thing the other day. I sent a box to Texas from Chicago, and he packed it up and sent it back to me. Then I used the same box and sent it to Washington DC. Who knows where it'll go from there. Very cool.

    Did this with a styro shipper once last year. I've always wondered where that shipper ended, and how many people/traders it's come across. Or maybe it ended it's journey in a landfill somewhere.. who knows?

    I was part of the One Bottle, Need Karma, Hometown LIF. One requirement was to continue using the single bottle shipper. Idea was you receive your LIF winnings, start a new LIF, sign the shipper, send to next winner, rinse, repeat. Not sure where that stands at this point.
