Hello all! I had a question for all of you that live in the Southeast. I need a good craft style everyday drinking beer that doesnt break the wallet. Is that possible? I do brew my own but building up the pipeline and getting right does take time.

    Thanks for all your help!

What kind of beer do you like, and how much would you like it to cost?

Not sure if you get Bells, but Amber Ale is a great one to have in the fridge for guests and such

Well, if your in GA, I'd like to say that if you like IPA's is hard to beat Sweetwaters IPA for an everyday drinker that you can find everywhere you shop just about.

A combination of Westbrook Gose and Jai Alai can get me by most of the time. Need a big stout on occasion, but the beers I mentioned are pretty readily available in their respective states (SC and FL) and aren't too expensive.

Mmmm.. I forgot about Gose.. Man, I can drink a sixer of that and look down and be pissed I didn't have more. So light and easy.

Jai Alai...but not sure you get that often in Georgia. Do you like lagers? Session lager is cheap and good. Are you looking for something under $10 a six pack?

Jai Alai when you get it in Georgia. Sweetwater IPA when you don't get it. Sweetwater is actually sometimes my replacement for Jai Alai when there's a shortage. Both got that simcoe hop character I like in an IPA.

Cigar City's Dry-Hopped on the Seas should see distribution outside of Florida, and it's very sessionable.

Lil Sumpin' Sumpin' from Lagunitas is my regular choice, though if you want something more sessionable, you may want to try their Daytime IPA

^ Pretty much sums it up. Lagunitas IPA and/or Dale's Pale Ale as well...

Thank you everyone for your posts! There are so many choices and Sweetwater has gone up in price for us locals. 16.99 for a twelve pack... I will keep looking. Where can I find the Jai Alai?

Cigar City's distribution is slightly spotty due to high demand, therefore it probably isn't readily available in GA quite yet. I think they are working on that though. Haven't seen 12 packs, but Jai normally runs bout $10.99 a six pack.

Well, if the $16.99 bothers ya, you'll want to skip the 10.99 price of a sixer of Jai Alai then.. and thats if you find it in GA.

For what it's worth, the $17 sticker shock of the new 12 packs from sweetwater, it's still cheaper per ounce than what you were paying for the 6 packs all along anyways.
