Was at a kiddie birthday party this weekend and it was hot. Cracked Coors' new citrus beer ice cold and enjoyed the crap out of it. Proceeded to drink about 10-15 more (with Coors lights mixed in). Had one Dale's Pale in there somewhere and a rum concoction I whipped up (about 6 flavored rums mixed with OJ). No hangover and felt great next morning. Don't do it often, but this is why I love drinking light beers for marathon drinking.

Most beers from Abita and Leinenkugles. Not that people hate them, but nothing of theirs is highly rated on here.

I would say Sam Adams, and I mean that as a brewery, not just a single beer, and in particular here on BA. Perhaps it's the craft beer that everyone loves to hate. who knows if they're too big or not over-hopped-abomination enough or what, but when I try a new SA beer, before I even open the bottle I can predict that the score will reflect the beer ratings world's apparent prejudice against it. While some of their beers are better than others, I've never really found one that deserved the blastings that came from here. Heck I'm always complaining about the lack of frequency of seeing SA creme stout in my area.

Well their new rebel DIPA is fucking awesome, so haters take that! It's over-the-top hoppy, high ABV, bitter as hell, unbalanced (which of course it must be to be a DIPA in the first place, lol), and generally enough to scare away billyuns and billyuns of BMC drinkers and European mild lovers alike. I rated it quite highly because I felt it deserved a quite high rating, but can virtually predict that the ratings will reflect more of the prejudice and less of the merits of the beer, almost to the number.

And yes, I've got my helmet ready, and I'm placing the sandbags now.

Great choice- that one's always cheap, and always delivers!

These are two that my wife really enjoys a lot, and I like the Dirty Blonde as well.
It seems Atwater in general gets an awful lot of hate around here, but so what.

I also think there are a lot more Bluemoon drinkers than will ever be admitted on here.
