It has electrolytes. It's what plants crave.

EDIT: Memo to brewers, if you make a gose named Brawndo, I'll probably buy it.

Agree 100% on the 120, but I actually loved the WWS. I will still admit that the alcohol is quite evident though. Funny how different tastes can be.

If you dont "love" one Lagunitas it's likely you arent going to love any. The hop profile is nearly identical to me in almost all of them.

I like a lot of Stone beers. Some very much. (IPA, Lucky Bastard, Double Bastard) I just dont seem to like them nearly as much as everyone else. The only one that I would say I "loved" is Xocoveza. I have the same general experience with Sierra Nevada. Some great beers, but not many I feel compeled to grab over other stuff. Now I will go hide.

I used to drink a lot of various Lagunitas beers, and then it was someone flipped a switch. At first I thought I had just grabbed a bad sixer. When I had some at a bar, I asked when they had last cleaned their lines. I took a break from their beers, and when I tried them again, that weird taste was still there. I've got no explanation for it. I still try some every now and then, and that flavor is still there.

I have definately come across a handful of "oh god no" beers among the 600 plus I have had. Those are the drain pours. The ones that I really had to try to drink half a glass.

Pretty much everything listed here is well crafted like you said. Most of the ones I listed I still enjoy. Just not as much as everyone else seems to (see ratings). I didnt interpret the question as "not like" necessarily. Maybe I am wrong though.

I like this thread. I don't think anyone is dogging on breweries or each other. Interesting to see us all admit to not being in love with some world class beers.

I have had that happen with a few over the last 3-4 years. Swore they were old or infected only to find out I just didnt care for them anymore. Completely different taste. I was quite saddened by one of them.

Most sours and most "session" IPAs.

The sours I seem to appreciate the most are the Anchorage ones. I've had plenty of the highly regarded ones through friends and I just don't excited over it. That is fine, more for everyone else, and saves me money(they are expensive).

A lot of session IPAs taste like hop water. They seem okay at first, then I have them again and I like them less and less each time(not in a day, just over time). I'd rather have a pale ale, or 21st Amendment Bitter American which I don't believe was designed as a session IPA.

I'm like all of the guys you quoted. ZD is a good beer and it might even be a little better than a solid local option, which for me as an example would be Victory Headwaters. Is it better enough for me to go to an effort to buy other beer and mail it to Indiana for? Absolutely not. Lots of people do, though.

Yeah I get electrolytes, gatorade has salts in it but does not taste salty. A guess a gose could help hydrate you but it still tastes too briny to me.

Orval : Maybe a bad bottle or too fresh? It stinks and taste weird. Will try again after years in the cellar.
Péché Mortel : I don't understand the hype about this one. It's good but not that much.
Others I think are overhyped : Young's Double Chocolate stout, Gouden Carolus Tripel, Chimay...

There's too many good things in life to focus on the negatives. Talk about what you do like, and life becomes much more satisfying.

Nugget Nectar is top of the list for me. Really, I don't get it. The hops don't do much for me, and the malt isn't that complex or interesting. I know Hop Rod Rye is technically a different style, but, IMO, it is everything Nugget Nectar could be but isn't.

Others that are just did not live up to recommendations or expectations: Sea Hag, Anti-Hero, Little Sumpin' Sumpin', Golden Monkey, and, dare I say it, Alpha King.

I'm curious what "New England IPAs" you've tried. Hard to narrow everything with that designation down to 6-8/10 level.
