I keep trying KBS and am always disappointed. Considering the alcohol and calorie investment, I find myself wishing my glass of KBS was a glass of BCBS. Just ruins it. BCBS has ruined a lot of beers for me recently. I even found myself wishing a bottle of Damon was BCBS.

Back yard rye. If i wanted to drink jelly I would. Hoping a few years tempers that mess.

As another poster mentioned: Not Your Father's Root Beer. This is Beer Advocate, NOT Root Beer/Hard Lemonade/Wine Cooler Advocate.

Oh, and super high ABV/IBU IPAs. Some are OK but many seem to be a little syrupy and not very balanced. This style is also the devil for me in the hangover department

There are lots of beers that I like a lot less than others, and many more that I think aren't worth the hype they have, but I can't think of anything I actually specifically dislike that is widely popular.

I don't know about love, but a lot of folks really like DFH 120-Minute, Founders Backwoods Bastard, Jack's Abby Kiwi Rising, and Victory Hop Ranch, all of which I strongly dislike.

Re: actual love, I think Focal Banger, Sip of Sunshine, Second Fiddle, and PseudoSue are extremely highly thought of brews that I find anywhere from pretty good to just decent, and which I have shelf beers I far, far prefer.

Stella brewed in Alexandria Egypt is a drain pour. I'm a sailor, me and my shipmates spit it out. For a sailor to do that

You do realize that NYFRB is a beer, right?

My friends love Green Flash's West Coast IPA.

I can't stand it. I always get a headache from it. Then again, it could be just me. I'll take Imperial IPA or Palate Wrecker, but none of the West Coast IPA.

Any of the DogFish XX Minute IPAs or Firestone Walker Double Jack.

Can't stand the malt bomb IPAs...

Obviously we all taste things differently, but I'm genuinely curious as to what you find offensive about Tank 7. I'm definitely not offended or looking for an argument. I'd just like to understand more.

Yea I would love some of the older vintage BCBS variants. I am content now however building my collection over the last two years. It is the only BCBS variant I was ever disapointed in fresh so I am hoping my second bottle shapes up in 3 years or so.

I was exactly the same way. I love cinnamon in/on pretty much everything. Apparently beer, specifically Hunahpu, is the exception to that. The look, smell, mouthfeel...even the taste (besides the cinnamon) was great. The cinnamon put the taste much lower in my rating.

I felt like Sunday Morning Stout was too "green peppery" for me. Smell and taste was too much green peppers

I've only had Abrasive once and thought it was overly bitter.

I don't like Southern Tier's Imperial stouts, Mokah, Choklat, Jahva, or Crème Brulee.

I continue to go to DL day (have for 6 years) but I don't really care for the beer. So over rated. The time watching the drunks fall in mud (this year) and friends is much more valuable than the FFF snobbery.
