People... LOVE the Circle Hefe at our bar. Can't keep that stuff in stock.

A bit of topic now, sorry bout that. Though Circle Hefe is one of the worst beers I think I have had made in Texas, same with the South Austin stuff. People say Saint Arnold is mediocre, but like that stuff? I don't get it:rolling_eyes:

People like Blue Moon too. Doesn't mean it's good.

Allright, I'm heading up to the brewery tonight for the first time.. I'll report back my thoughts. I have had the Hopston and the Alternate Universe before. Hopston was average. Alternate Universe was really good in my opinion. I'll try the Intellectuale tonight and hopefully they'll have one or two one offs... not sure. I don't know anyone who has been there yet.

If anyone else is going let me know and I'll say hello.

The Waffle Bus is going to be there tonight.. good stuff.

Not to get too far off topic, but does anyone know where I can find Circle beers in Houston? My fiancee loves their stuff (I'm a fan too), and we haven't seen any Circle beers since we left Austin months back (to be fair we haven't exactly been scouring all the bars in the city for it).

Off Topic: I've seen Circle on tap at Nobi Public House a few times... but I'd call and check before heading over one day...

On Topic: 8th Wonder Brewery.. will have the Waffle Bus there tonight!

    Woohoo!

out of their three regular beers the only one I find meh is Hopston. I really liked Intellectuale tonight.. I was already a fan of Alt Universe... and now I'm a big fan of Coffee Mocha Alt Universe... loved that beer.

Even Hopston was better than the first time I tried it... but I still think there are many IPA's better locally.

Side Note: Waffle Bus... delicious.. the Ancho Chile Honey Waffle Chicken sandwich is GREAT. The Irish Creme Brulee dessert waffle with Strawberries is amazing...

Had a good time, but of course being summer in Houston the non airconditioned brewery is just so hot.. bring your own chairs and sit outside in the shade somewhere.. ten to fifteen degrees cooler there.

After tonight, I look forward to seeing where 8th Wonder goes... I have no problem watching a brewery grow and improve in time. Tonight was a definite step in the right direction for me. I put them ahead of No Label, Fort Bend and many of the brews from Southern Star... I like Alt Universe and Intellectuale about as much as anything in the regular Karbach lineup....

Brings me back to when Saint Arnold was only a warehouse and they gave away free beer...
