Sad day for Dallas. I wish the very best for Drew and I hope he's able to stay in the area.

Huh.....well this explains the awkward conversation I had with him today at the Martin House brewing Brunch......I had not realised

 

Huge loss for DEBC...I imagine they will find a great replacement though.

Anybody know his last new beer produced? The unnamed Barleywine? Any word on when they baby will see the light of day?

 

I believe it was released yesterday. I'm looking forward to trying that one.

 

As am I! Numb Comfort, I believe...anybody out there know how much was produced and if it'll make the rounds at all the usual places (TCT, Saucers, Moth, Goodfriend, etc.) soon? Draft only, right?

 

It has a name... Numb Comfort (...think Pink Floyd)and it was pretty tasty @Untapped yesterday(surprised I didn't see you there). Should be popping up around DFW(mostly "D", I'm guessing) in the next week or so.

 

This guy knows all about "the D" ladies and gents.

 

They're doing a pretty sexy looking glass release at C&G on Wednesday at 6:00

Had the Numb Comfort tonight at Oak St Draft House. It's a fantastic beer. I'm a huge barleywine fan to begin with, so no surprise that Numb Comfort was one of my fav, Dallas-brewed beers so far. Lots of fruit, malt, booze, hops, caramel, toffee, hints of tropical fruits, whiskey, very nice beer.

Sad to see Drew go.
