Did they bottle it? I remember having it on tap once. I don't remember it being infected at the time though.

They did. I think it was like 90 bottles or something. The infection showed up later so if you had it on tap then you wouldn't have noticed anything. That's why Freetail only releases non-wild barrel aged beers on tap.

You can come as a member of my Rogue's Gallery. Rules are easy. You must make fun of John and threaten him with obscure pro wrestling references. Personally, I plan on giving him a Garvin Stomp.

The massive amount of headwax jl28r1 uses would render the Iron Claw wholly ineffective. Might I suggest a heart punch or discus clothesline?

Is Freetail going to start selling the bottles of La Muerta at 11am Saturday? I have a wedding to go to in San Antonio that afternoon, so I'm just wondering if it will be possible to stop in and buy a few at 11. I assume there will be a line after reading this thread.

There will be a pretty long line, but it's likely that they'll have some leftover bottles after the line is done. Just don't expect it to be a quick stop if you'll be showing up at 11.

Thanks for the info. I may have to stop by around 2 or 3 on the way to the wedding and hope there's some left.

Do they typically tap kegs throughout the week? I will be in San Antonio on the 10th for a wedding and we're planning on stopping for lunch at Freetail on the way.

They like to have it around for the month of Nov. but your best option is to check their website before you go.
