Went to specs midtown/downtown just now. Plenty of RU-55, Funk metal, OG Black Metal, Gotlandsdricka. I bought the only two Das Wunderkind! on the shelves. There was also OG Wytchmaker and OG drinking the sunbelt. Lol. Those bottles were unbelievably dusty.

Also picked up Boulevard rye-on-rye 2013 and a few bottles of espresso-oak aged yeti

Looks like El Cedro is going to be hitting stores in Austin today. South Lamar Wine and Spirits just posted that they received some.

Just picked up three bottles of El Cedro from D&Q. Counted seven cases on the floor. No limit. Also saw Uberkind, Boxer's, and RU-55.

Edit: Brandon also said, "lots of good stuff coming in Monday or Tuesday" but wouldn't reveal exactly what. His wife told me to save up my money. Must be something major.

the sourness has mellowed and carbonation has died down a bit. same with boxer's. in my opinion, das should be drunk now. boxer's batch #1 is still fantastic.

I'm no sour guru or even a fan, but could you compare the tartness and carbonation of boxers to el cedro?

El Cedro is not tart at all. Boxers is tart to sour depending on the bottle batch or the blend.
Carbonation could change from bottle to bottle but the last couple of Boxer's releases were carbed better than batch 1. However the recent bottles of batch 1 boxers I have opened have been nicely carbed.

El Cedro is not at all sour. More like a hoppy saison.
