Any updates on Buddha or Das bottles to report? As I understood Buddha had some TABC issues and Das was just perfecting itself in bottles.

Im with you horny toad...I just received my first JK Weasel Rodeo and I have another one plus the Whiskey Barrel edition coming my way. In regards to their pricing, it is what it is. The Mikkeller collabs are always pricey, which i don't think is right cuz some Mikkeller beers have really sucked.

My grandmother always told me never to trust gypsies.

Beer Geek Brunch/Beer Geek Rodeo are my favorite Mikkeller brews of all time though. It's basically Denmark's FBS. I'm still waiting for a special occasion to pop my other BGR and WBR. Weasel Rodeo... I'm glad I only bought one of.

I think it's a good value in that you get an 11.2oz BGB or a 750mL BGR for about the same price. That's like, 2.5X more!

Yeah, makes sense as i drank it slowly and it warmed in that time im sure.

Meant to add in original post that i paid somewhere in the vicinity of 15 bucks for the bottle, i think.

Ouch, it was definitely less than that. Not sure exactly but i remember thinking that i expected it to be closer to 20 bucks than it was.

$18 for Weasel Rodeo?? I got it for $14 and change last week. Of the 5 or so bottles I have bought all have been around $15.

    Whiskey was $19.47 consistently.

$18 for whiskey and around $14 for weasel in SA. $18 for weasel is pretty steep.

Anyone else going to the Funk n' Sour Fest this weekend? Can't wait to get my hands on some more Funk Metal. It was easily my favorite beer from the Texas Craft Brewers Festival. If anyone happens to have an extra ticket or has something come up and can't make it, I'm desperately trying to grab another for a friend, toss me a BM would love to work out a deal for it (buying or trading?)

I'll be at Funk n' Sour. Going with a couple of friends and a designated driver. Gonna sample as many as I can, and I hear there'll be some pretty special guest beers to be had too.
