Just FYI, Weasel Rodeo is drinking perfect right now. Served at 55 rapidly I got a full mocha finger that lasted a minute+

Same pour at release attained only a few bubbles. For those doubting this variation I have to give it credit. Spice is NICE ladies and gents, this one hits it on the head.

I agree I had one a couple of night ago and it was MUCH more carbed than upon release and very tasty.

Jealous of those mystery beers... there's a couple Austin Beer Week events Jester King is hosting with their sours from this event... so keep a look out.

Fou Foune was the mystery keg at the First Anniversary Party, but unfortunately pours weren't as enforced as they are now, so people were getting double pours, while some of us got right outside the Tasting Room door as the keg floated. Luckily, though, there were some generous BA's that hooked it up on a sip. All around awesome day.

was it just me of was Funk Metal from tent 2 incredibly flat and uninteresting? The pour I got from the bottles during the sweet and sour soirée was a bit more carbonated and tasted much much better.

I honestly really enjoyed the Funk Metal from the tent. I believe it was cask conditioned, which would explain why it was perceived as being flat.

It was great meeting new folks and seeing old friends, it was certainly an amazing day. Sorry that we had to take off a few minutes early, but other ABW events beckoned. Hope the Consecration was enjoyed and if a bottle of Bodacious finds its way to me that would be awesome. :-)

Kings Fort Worth on my end. Nicely priced, tasty beer. Would be a perfect bottle to split with a sandwich over lunch.

Just to let everyone know that this outrage has been somewhat rectified...

Le Petit Prince is $8 at the Feldmans in McAllen.

There was/is a wine store in McAllen that was selling that beer for 17 bucks a few months ago (lol). They don't know anything about beer though.

You can still only get JK Black Metal at Sharyland Wine & Spirits though, I think for 16 bucks.
