No idea. I typically avoid Whip-In. I just saw that they posted and wanted to give everyone a heads up that it's rolling out now

The bulk of the Buddha's Brew release, again about 100 cases, left our brewery on Thursday.

I've already drank half of the case. It's refreshing, and I traded ONE reluctantly for a Boxer's Revenge.

Also, we don't have the pickup scheduled yet, but we expect Funk Metal (about 200 cases) to leave our brewery the week after Thanksgiving.

I used to avoid the whip in but I've started going back for certain releases. Pretty cool people, the mark up isn't too bad, and I work close enough to drop by on my lunch break to actually make it time before they sell out. Now I really avoid Sunrise Mini Mart. They never have the good shit by the time you make it there and markup is getting out of hand. If their prices keep going they're going to be as bad as Hyde Park market.

Arg, I seem to always miss your releases. Going to be in las Vegas that week... Sonofabitch.

My exact sentiments about D&Q in Houston. Kinda sucks how fast that place exploded and now you have to already be there when he puts stuff out or else it disappears. Brandon is still the man and it is still a great place to find less trendy releases but any new Jester King is gone within minutes.

You probably still have a chance. If it leaves the brewery that week, it will still take Virtuoso a while to get it to the stores, especially since they can be a bit slow in doing so. I wouldn't count it out yet.

I'm hoping so, but it typically huts shelves the same week. Hey Jeff, maybe it leaves the brewery near the end of the week?

Whip In is filled with dirty hipsters at nighttime. I will only stop there if it's before 3.

Whip In and Spec's are the only specialty stores in town I know of that don't gouge on Jester King though. Outside of supermarkets you can count on a $2 markup anywhere else.

Sunrise confuses me because their prices can be fair; but are very occasionally skewed.

Considering Houston is the only city without bottle shops, D&Q is a welcome addition. All we have is Specs (Midtown mostly, the other specs dont even see the really limited stuff). Thats it. Sometimes we get lucky with HEB/Central Market/Whole Foods getting stuff. But for true bottle shops, Houston has the least in Texas... one

I don't have a problem with Whip-In. It's just not one of my first resources. It's definitely a great place to go (eat and drink), but I don't rely on them for new beer releases.
