yep, I lived in WI for many years, and NG has never shipped out of state. Their whole business model is to be successful in your own backyard.

I've personally seen it on shelves in California, Belgian Red last year. My brother just brought be back a bottle of Enigma from Las Vegas 2 weeks ago. So I don't know what to tell you.

There have been cases where people have trucked the stuff out of state and then re-sold it. It's never been licensed to be sold outside of WI legally. Here's one case of it:

I could be wrong but I believe California doesnt have all the licensing restrictions other states do. They recieve odds and ends shipments from all sorts of startup breweries all the time. It's wonderful looking through shelves out there.

If they don't have the restrictions, then I suppose it could be, I'm not doubting you've seen it out there, I've just never seen it in any other states I've visited, maybe the cities or liquor stores I went to didn't have it.

Not sure if this was mentioned, but Hay Merchant tapped another cask of Buddha's Brew last night around 9pm. Hopefully there's still some there when they open today, as I believe I'll be in the area.

I had the new batch of Das Wunderkind last night and found it to be significantly less tart than the original release. It was still very good but seemed much more like a saison than a sour saison. Anyone else noticed this? I will drink one of the original release bottles this evening for a refresher.

I didnt like it. Not relly that sour and also had a bad chemical finish, much like the first batch imo. all the raves made me try again. :slight_frown:
