Just FYI, tickets for this year's Funk & Sour Fest at JK went on sale today. Tix are $35, limited to 350 total, and info is on their web site. You've been warned.

 

Just bought a set of tickets to the Fest and two tickets to the sweet and sour soirée which is limited to 35ppl.

made a decision to skip southern star in favor of a nice drive to Austin, will probably do dinner at foreign and domestic after before heading back to Houston.

DFW folks, Beer and Wine World in Mansfield has Bonnie and Weasel on the shelf.

 

Preach on, brother! I'm right there with you with the frustration of this distributor. Got absolutely shut out of any WBR and managed to scramble up the bare minimum of Bonnie(2 whole bottles!). When a usual "sure thing" like Hall's gets left out in the cold with these releases... there's an obvious problem somewhere.

Just hoping Jeff reads this, and realizes just how inefficient this distributor is...

 

Anyone in Houston seen more Weasel anywhere? I read a thread about some @ Spec's Bay Area but that was a week ago. I checked Spec's Smith Street and they were all out of Weasel and Black Metal.

 

I'd check again, was some Saturday.

 

Im looking forward to funk metal more than any previous JK release! Hope the issues get a little resolved before the release so I can get my hands on some!

 

We were left out of the initial run of bonnie, you're right raf....but we weren't left in the cold. I talked to virtuoso about the Dfw distro issues they are trying to sort out a solution.

Spec's #02 (Westheimer at Kirkwood) and HEB Bunker Hill both have WR.

I actually snagged the last bottle of Boxer's Revenge at that HEB on Monday. Has anyone seen anymore in Houston recently?

 

Specs Pearland has 4 bottles as of today. They still have 120. You have to ask for it.
