I'm glad that I don't buy beer from them anymore, yet still come up with all these beers.

 

Where is everyone finding info on Black Crack? ABV, Production amount, blending with fresh hatchet.... basically, where is the source? I've managed to find that it does in fact exist and people are in a frenzy to be the first to upload it to multiple sites so they're forgoing filling out information just to "be first". The bottles tell me nothing.

Ugh, I paid like $16 at Sunrise. I mean, I'll take it, but I wish I could be in Austin again to get one of those at $10.99. Sheesh.

 

No more. Last one went around 9pm.

 

Man, it's killing me more than I thought it would just sitting back and watching this sell without buying any. Must....restrain.....self.....

I've been really toning down my beer addiction, so I won't be getting any unless it sits for a while at one of the many possible places in Austin. I was happy to find BA raspy and Schneider mein Nelson tonight at whole foods. Felt no need to run for 512 double pecan this year. From some of the forum responses it seems like I made the right descision. I was quite alright with the heavy carb last year because it suits the beer well. A thin bodied BA beer, being flat isn't going to do it any favors. I'm somewhat partial to southern star but the blending down makes it sound like it may or not be worth the effort/price to get one. I still won't turn down an easy chance to try it.

Huh? You didn't buy any and obviously haven't popped a bottle but you're convinced it's "flat". False...think you need to do your own research before you start throwing the "flat" word around.

 

I don't think you have to worry about this sitting on shelves.

 

You're right. I haven't tried it yet but I from what I gather from numerous people on BA and other forums it seems like its 50/50 on whether or not people feel that it is very undercarbed. I've been around long enough to know that some of the people saying it is undercarbed do actually generally know what they're talking about. Sounds like there could be variation in carb from one bottle to the next.

 

Plenty of black crack at Specs Brodie... Probably close to three full cases sitting by the beer guys station.

 

Just came here to post this. Just picked up 2. A good amount left.

 

They only let me buy one and it looked like 1 1/2 cases left at 1:15pm.
