Hi All, Just bought some cans of Evil Twin from an online shop that will remain nameless. The beer was listed as in the sale but having got the cans delivered the date and code at the bottom is as follows: 2363.2364 09/22/2017 12.54 Is this the BBE date or the batch date? If it's BBE I'm annoyed that i've been sold beer that is over two years out of date! If it is batch date then I hold me head in shame. Hope someone can enlighten me Mr P
Pretty sure thats when it was packaged. 2 years ago. 1st set of numbers is prolly batch #, 2nd is the date it was packed, 3rd is the time it was packed. Depending on style of beer if their still good. If their stouts they should be still good. Flavor profile may have changed from what they used to be. IPAs are a no go. Prolly more of a barleywine by now. Not the 1st time I've heard of these online shops being out of date with their products.
