Evil Twin Imperial Doughnut Break

Wow, y'all were lucky. I bought this bottle in New England for $18.50.

 

What made evil twin think that throwing donuts in the beer would make it taste like a donut?
Probably should have focused on vanilla bean and sugar to imitate.

tastes very cake like. I wish they would have used krispy kremes. Good beer. Cool to try. I like it but think they could have done slightly better. Still really fun to drink and try with friends.

I'd like to try this, but if tastes similar to Lil' B, I'll manage drinking that for a cheaper price.

It's here. I believe Rozi's in Lakewood has it (may be sold out). I really wanted to try this, but seems to be really expensive. When I was down in WNC a certain bottle shop had it for $27.99!! Crazy shit.

 

I picked up huge doughnut in this.... Just like eating a doughnut and drinking chocolate milk, Idk I loved it.

Byfar the most expensive beer I've ever purchased ... I saw it and bought it impulsively at a $17.99 price tag. I don't think I've spent more than $12 on any beer, but I've heard great things about Imperial Biscotti Break (which they didn't have), so I went with this.

I'll be opening it in a couple days, and hope it's very good at the very least.

 

Not as good as Imp Biscotti Break IMO.

Had this on tap at Westbrook tonight, it was much better. Actually had a sweet/yeasty flavor. I may have to change my opinion on this one.

 

I'm going there Saturday. Today didn't work out. I was already thinking about having it on tap, just to see if it's better. Looks like they're open from Tues-Sat now!

 

Real tempted to try this but for $18 just couldn't pull the trigger.

 

I picked mine up in Royalton for $13.99. Sad to say but compared to some of the other prices I've seen posted here that seems like a bargain. I'll be cracking that and cafe BORIS this Saturday!
