picked up a few cans of ET's most recent stouts...Real Mexican Cake, Miami's Finest, Even More Grasp...all fantastic...must get to the brewery in Ridgewood!

 

Looks like they're brewing with Trillium tomorrow...

 

Two ET beers I picked up last year that I loved were Rhubarb Compote Sour and Imperial Biscotti Chili Hazelnut Break. Haven't seen cans around yet this year, anyone know if there are plans to release them again?

The millennial in me is curious about this spicy avocado marg

 

Anyone know what the typical price for a geyser gose single was?

 

NYC pricing on beermenus has it around $3.50

 

Its surprisingly good, the avocado adds an almost creaminess to beer. I wish there was a bit more spice to it though, its very lime forward which makes it taste more tart than it probably is.

 

Picked up both the Trillium & Other Half collab IPA's last week...both were solid and the OH Triple IPA packed quite a punch

 

Does anyone else find their NY-themed beer names to be incredibly cringy? I know they're meant to be tongue-in-cheek but they still all rub me the wrong way.

 

My issue is more that they are way too long and I think that makes them a little forgettable even if they are solid beers. When the names are a small paragraph it becomes hard (at least for me) to remember what was what.

 

Has there been any info on what the 12 Christmas beers will yet other than "mostly stouts"? The price point is great, but I would love to know what I'm getting into before setting up a trip out to NY.

Does anybody know the extent of Anthony from Root + Branch's involvement in the Evil Twin NYC Beers. If anything this has been the main factor in peaking my interest in this brewery. Loved some of the OG stuff coming out of LIC. Have not had R+B but the ratings are up there. There has to be a little crossover in brewing technique and knowledge so hopefully the ET IPAs will lean towards that direction Anthony's influence. A mix of Jeppe's extensive knowledge plus Anthony's ability to really make a next level NEIPA that separates itself from the pack is a promising thing.
