I haven't had my IBB yet, but 14 bucks for a bomber of a world class 13% ABV imperial stout really isn't that awful a deal.

I mean, I guess it *would* be rare if it wasn't so overpriced that it sits everywhere. It used to be that most of it was brewed overseas at Fanø Bryghus, but now much of the US market stuff is coming from Westbrook. Still, you'd never know looking at the prices: $16 for a six-pack of Hipster Pale Ale.

I enjoy their brews.... pricing isn't bad. Imperial biscotti break and ying imperial stout are some of my favorites. Rarity? Its only rare when there's a high demand and my area of beer drinkers probably have no clue who they are... so it all depends on store, area and demand

I've tried a few. Pretty good to really good stuff. Prices are insane though.

Imperial Biscotti Break is one of my favorite all time stouts. No way it's over priced at the $13-$15 bucks it costs off the shelf. I think they do a great job with the Imperial Stouts/Porters. Apart from biscotti, Even More Jesus was very good, as was Lil B. I haven't tried much of their none Imp Stout offerings, so I can't really comment on the other beers.

Also, how are people getting Mikkeler bombers for under $10? Mikkeler is the insanely expensive beer here in SC.

Oh Soft DK was very good as well. They just consistently pump out good ISs

The shitty part is the that imported beers and the contract brewed beers are demanding the same price. No thanks.

The only beer I've had from them that I'd pay for again is Imperial Biscotti Break, which I've already bought multiple bottles of. Most of the rest of the stuff I've had from them (Soft Dookie, Lil' B, Nurse Pepper) was good, but not worth the price to go back to. Lil' B was the best of those, but I'd have a hard time ponying up another $16 for a bottle.

We get quite a lot of them here in London, and the markup is not as excessive as in the US. I generally like their beer, they've made some sours that are pure genius, and Soft Dookie is probably my all-time favourite sweet stout.

Haven't had much from them, but Even More Jesus is a very good imperial stout.

He makes some expensive beers like everyone else has said, but I wouldn't say overpriced. At least not for what I have had. Yin imperial stout, Yang imperial IPA and Ron & the Beast Ryan saison were all very good and two of his other imperial stouts, Soft DK and Imperial Biscotti Break, were amazing. I love the fact that he is always brewing something different and new and I love that he brews tons of different imperial stouts. I'd love to try Even More Jesus if possible. His brews are usually around Tucson AZ where I can find them but its usually the same old ones because they aren't that cheap so they don't sell quick. Every time I see a new imperial stout from him I WILL buy it. 100% of the time.

Go to arbys and get a jamocha shake, let it melt... thats what this beer is like. To me, this beer is perfect. Can only imagine what it would taste like after spending time in bourbon barrels.
