Bible Belt is Even More Jesus + all the adjuncts that go into BOMB! Also, Lil' B is base beer for IBB and IDB.

IBB is an amazing beer, no question. I had it at Torst and of course it was temperture controlled which I think brought out a lot of the flavor. However, as much as I love Jeppe and Evil Twin, I will not pay 16 dollars for a bottle. Evil Twin's prices can be pricey as all hell.

Alos, Evil Twin makes some of my favorite beers that are semi easy to get. That being said, Lil B and I love you with my stout are both fantastic.

I'm a fan of Imperial Biscotti Break, and I'd place it among the top 3 coffee beers I've tried (out of 40-50). The issue, however, may be freshness and dating. And I've not really seen that issue raised yet.

Evil Twin's beers sometimes are dated, depending on where they are brewed. But all too frequently, Imperial Biscotti Break is not dated. (Or it wasn't--please correct me if that's changed.) Living in ATL as I do, and considering that much of IBB comes from Westbrook, I typically know that when it shows up on a shelf, that it is relatively fresh. (And just to be clear, I'm not calling out Westbrook--they brew fine beer and have made great strides in dating.) But that may not have been the case for the OP.

And when it comes to this particular beer, freshness matters. Coffee is one of the first things to drop out of a beer. No, it never disappears completely, but the fresher your IBB, the better it's going to taste, IMO.

So, a question: I'm aware that IBB and IDB were brewed at Westbrook. But is Lil' B brewed there, too? I always thought it was brewed at Two Roads. So, how does that work, exactly?

When Lil' B was first brewed and bottled, it was done by/at Westbrook. It came in 22 oz. So, all the bombers are done by Westbrook and all the 4-packs at Two Roads. They still brew Lil' B, but only for IBB variants and IDB.

My local store has a 3L of Bozo (imperical stout), I think the price was like $2.40/ounce. That is STEEP

It was/is around $16-18 a bomber. Such an amazing beer.

They're both really good. Ibb is definitely sweeter and has more emphasis on caramel and toffee notes vs the dark chocolate and dark fruit characters in I love u
