Agreed, I don’t get it either. It’s like Bells dropping Expedition Stout.

Founders has been coy enough about this to suggest that it's just taking a hiatus. If you read between the lines, I think you can be confident it'll return before long, perhaps by next year. And all the better, because it is indeed one of the all-time greats in its style.

I think @Robomunky nailed it. Nothing mind blowing, but the beers are solid. Really liking the milk stout on nitro, and the landwink ipa is quite tolerable. The mystic and stupid monk-E are both so-so, and I get the impression that Belgian style beers aren't really in their wheel house. Overall, having a very worthwhile visit while the wife is getting her toes painted.

Yeah, it's a thing that hasn't happened yet, but, a visit to the Woodinville Brewery Pod has been on the "we should do this some weekend" list for the Hobos for a couple years now. Now that I know that toe-painting is a thing, it might make it easier to negotiate a D-driver

My wife gave the salon very high marks, and told me the price tag was quite reasonable as well ($25 for a 45 minute work over). That was enough time for me to fully enjoy my stay at Triplehorn (it was no more than a 5 minute drive over to the tasting room).

And the local Big Fish restaurant had Chuckunut Pils on tap, which went perfectly with the happy hour tacos, sliders and what not later that evening.
