Are there any areas in VT close to Lake George, where I can purchase great IPA's? Cans? Bottles? 4 packs and 6 packs? Or is going all the way up to the Burlington area going to be the best bet? Thanks in advance?

Will you be traveling from anywhere to get to Lake George? Might be something along the way.

Common Roots is probably your best bet, right on the way to Lake george from Albany

Yes, I've been there. I'm looking for places in Vermont where I can pick up great Vermont brewed IPA's/DIPA's close to LG. Thanks again...

In that case, yea, probably burlington is your best bet, Foley Bros is probably a similar distance too

Would have to echo the sentiments of @bla211 but will also make mention of the Rutland beer scene:

    https://www.beeradvocate.com/place/list/?city=Rutland&c_id=US&s_id=VT

which is roughly an hour's drive, depending where you're at in the Lake George area.

And though I'm from Northern Vermont, I have spent time in the Rutland area, so Beer King and Terrill Street are do-able, but I'm not exactly sure 100% how "great" you're looking for as both of these stores a bit more limited than what is in Northern Vermont.

    Good luck!

Anything worth mentioning in Rutland? That's the closest point in VT to Lake George.

Hop'n Moose is decent. But I'd rather have anything from Foley.
