Expanded Beer Selection at Nationals Park

    So I went to 2 games this weekend, and noticed that they have really taken the beer situation in that stadium to the next level from when I was last there on Memorial Day. First off, they added 6 new taps at the bar inside of the Red Porch, and all of the new beers were craft selections. They now have the following beers on tap there:

    Ommegang Hennepin (new)
    Boulevard Unfilitered Wheat (new)
    Sierra Nevada Kellerweis Hefeweizen (new)
    Abita Purple Haze (new)
    Heavy Seas Peg Leg (new)
    Allagash White (new)
    Yuengling Lager
    Leinenkugel Summer Shandy
    Dogfish Head Indian Brown
    Dogfish Head 60 Minute
    Starr Hill Jomo Lager
    Blue Moon Belgian White
    Flying Dog Snake Dog IPA
    Flying Dog Under Dog Atlantic Lager

    I also noticed that Dogfish Head 60 Minute is available around the stadium now at Baseline Brews.

    That's a good list for a ball park. Wish they had some Port City, or DC Brau I imagine that will happen sooner than later. Port City is now the official beer of Potomac Nationals. I like the Peg Leg Stout, but can't imagine drinking that on a 90 afternoon July game.

    DC Brau and Port City are Hop and Wine. Premium does all the beer (minus Bud core products). Hopefully, eventually, public pressure to get good local beer into the stadium will be enough to get DC/PC in. Hopefully.

    Port City just announced on Twitter that Optimal Wit will be served at Nat's Park starting July 19. Nice.
