Kroger at Westpark and Buffalo Speedway has a few bombers (5 or 6) of DR13 that got put out recently, if anyone is still looking for that. They also had one Roll in the Hay left earlier, and still have some Creme Brule, as well.

Thanks for the heads up! I went and got 2 of the DR13s. There was a hellfighter that I grabbed as well.

Would like to get another Black Butte XXV before I open the one I have. Wish we could get Deschutes Fresh Squeezed down here soon.

Damn I hope it is. I passed on drinking a 2 week old bomber up in Montana a while ago. Should have done it.

Glad to hear our distributors don't understand getting IPAs to the shelf quickly.

    Typical...

They don't help, but lots of beers get label approval and then still sit in the warehouse for over a month.

Your "as far south" is "as far north" as I've gone in Austin in like 2 years, lol.

"Texas consumers are sure to enjoy several varieties from the brewery’s Pale series, such as the Double Barrel Ale, a 2012 Great American Beer Festival Gold Medal Winner as well as the hoppy Pale 31 Ale and double-dry hopped Union Jack IPA, among others.

For seasonal beer fans, nothing cools off the Texas heat better than a sip of Firestone Walker’s Solace. With just a hint of citrus fruit and clove aroma, this is the perfect beer for washing down some spicy Tex-Mex or any south of the border cuisine. Other seasonal favorites to keep an eye out for include the Velvet Merlin, a decadent oatmeal stout as well as the coveted and rich Oaktoberfest.

Silver Eagle Distributors also will include selections from Firestone Walker’s Proprietor’s Reserve series. These vintage and limited release beers are the consummate sipping beers, meant to be enjoyed with friends and family. Beers such as the Double Jack DIPA, Walker’s Reserve Porter and Wookey Jack Black Rye IPA spend several months, even years in a combination of retired bourbon, Firestone Union and wine barrels. The result is a series full of intricate aromas and flavors reached through careful aging."
