Expected Releases in December

If it is the same batch that saw its way to Houston I believe it was bottled October 21.

 

All I know is it says "vintage 2013" on the bottle....

 

They told me at the release party on Tues it was about 8.5%

 

TABC Approval for Sputnik in October 2013 says 7.1% ABV. Doesn't look like it's been tested since 2011 though... so that may be out of date.

 

They had a sign on the side of the bar listing all the ABW beers at the taproom. It had 7.1% crossed out for the ABV with 8.5% written over it.

So, I am guessing 8.5% this year.

 

I am just pissed I will be outside of town when the Sunrise Mart releases these on the 21st...

My body isnt. My wallet isnt. Probably a good thing I am out of town that day.

 

There are several items on that "cellar" list that are either on the shelf now or were just on the shelves in the past couple months. Interesting to see what they do to the prices on those.

Thankfully, nothing on that list that tickles my fancy right now. My son WILL have Christmas after all

Really? I have a '12 and a '13 that I'd trade away for almost anything decent. That beer just doesn't do it for me, so I've taken to just extra'ing them out in trades.

I saw that at the store. I could not buy it. I thought about it, but if that little effort is put into the label, I worry about how the beer would be.
