Nice labels on the To Øl stuff. Reviews look good, I'd love to try them.

I love To Øl stuff. Most of the beers I've had from them have been very good and I for one am thrilled that they're in Texas now. Story time:

Two trips to London ago, I was sitting in a bar called King William IV, where Brodie's brewery is based, drinking a ton of different Brodie's and Mikkeller stuff. (There was a Mikkeller tap takeover because he was in town for the London Craft Beer Fest - I stopped by on the recommendation of a friend over there who said that they'd have some pretty interesting Mikkeller and Brodie's stuff.)

There were four people in the bar other than bartenders: me, a British guy, and two Danes. The Danes were talking to the British guy when suddenly I overheard him say something about being Tobias from To Øl. When the British guy left, I introduced myself and started a long (longer than an hour) discussion with Tobias about all matters of beer-related things. Honestly, the conversation was great, and Tobias was one of the nicest people I've met. I was familiar with To Øl brews so I was able to compliment him and say that I'd love to see their beers in Texas.

Less than six months later, and my wish has come true. I'm thrilled about it.

(As it turns out, the other Dane was Mikkel himself. Tobias introduced me to him, but every compliment I have for Tobias I cannot extend to Mikkel. I'd say more, but it's better, as I've learned, to keep your mouth shut when you have nothing nice to say.)

Anyway, go out and buy To Øl stuff. You won't be dismayed.

Fun fact, Junipers aren't really berries, rather really small pine cones.

    Seed cones.

Many trees are coniferous, only members of the pine family can be said to create pine cones. Juniper is a member of the cypress family.
